Possible to use MacBook pro as ps3 monitor?
I’m currently in the military and I travel alot and can’t afford to carry around a laptop ps3 and a tv. Is it possible to use the MBP as a monitor using a USB to HDMI adapter to play my ps3 on the MBP screen?
Thanks.
I use this device:

to connect my VCR to my Macbook so that I can transfer VHS video and audio to digital format, but it’s just composite video and not HDMI. I’ll look around to see if there is anything similar for HDMI.

OK, I’ve searched quite a bit and haven’t see a similar device for either HDMI or DVI connectors. I assume that it is frowned-up by the movie industry to produce such devices due to piracy concerns :-S
