Laptop HDD making clicking noise?

I have a HP F700 laptop with an 120Gb HDD. Just recently I noticed the system becoming slower and the HD making a clicking noise every 30 seconds or so. I have Vista Home premium with 1.5 Gb RAM. 1.9 Ghz AMD 64 Athlon X2 Processor. Is the HDD going bad?
Its a relatively new machine, purchased Aug 08. It’s a clean machine also, I use it strictly for school and thats it. No unnecessary programs or anything like that.

how much have you got on your computer if not a lot return it for a Service. they can find out the problem if they don’t service it i might be able to find out the problem using more detail

But if you choose,
Core2 Duo Processor / Dual Core Processor it will be best.
Add Graphic Card for Games.

As for accessories – get the Mac then see what you need as they come loaded with stuff that you can use straight out of the box. Main thing to get would be a laptop carry bag.
