Apple Powerbook G4 white lcd screen?

My powerbook screen is now white (cause unknown) although i can hear things going on so the mac is working otherwise it appears. I can’t afford at this time to pay someone to fix it and can’t deal with taking it apart to see if cable is loose. So, does anyone know how to get it to connect to a TV. I usually use an SVideo to yellow Phono to TV setup but have to goto ‘detect monitors’ in System Prefs/Display. Clearly I can’t navigate that when the screen is white. How else might I be able to get an external tv monitor to work with my mac? as always, thanks in advance for any replies. Jeremy

I believe the F7 key is the one that swaps between desktop mirroring and spanning. See what that does.

Are there any programs that record videos (audio and visual) directly from your computer screen?

Are there any programs that I can download that record whats happening on your computer screen, recording both the audio and the picture, for free?I want this so I can get free videos off youtube. Are there any with good quality?

There’s easier ways to get videos off of youtube. Try www.vixy.net or some other “download youtube format” searches on google. I’m sure you can find it.
