How do i check if parental monitoring software is installed on my computer?

In a desperate attempt to get my password to a social networking site, i am fairly certain that my friend installed one of those parental internet monitoring programs on my computer when i left my computer at his apartment overnight. How do i check if he installed one and if he did how do i remove it?

All computer have parental control tools installed by default if they use a Windows based operating system. If your “friend” installed a third party program on the computer, there is simply no way to know what program was installed, or how to bypass it because the program itself will limit access due to the nature of it’s purpose. If you are being blocked from using a feature on your computer from someone else’s deeds, I would ask them to correct the computer and find a new friend. Windows parental controls and those of a third party provider are surprisingly difficult, if not impossible to bypass. They are meant to be this way.
