I have a HP Photosmart all in one C4180 printer, It will print from PC but has stoped scanning to PC, any idea

When i try to scan a error message appears on PC screen, But dont understand how i can print & not scan.

I had that same problem, all I did to fix it was uninstalling the printer driver/Scanning software. Hard Reset it (unplug the power cord from the oulet, and Press and Hold Power button for about 10-to-15sec. install the software, and plug it back.

Everything was fine, It work for me, Same exact printer. so it should work for you.

Printer problem: Documents never clear out of printer memory; turn off power and garbage prints. What to do?

I have an HP Deskjet 842C. If I start a print job and see an error, like it’s in the wrong font, I can never stop it cleanly. If I turn off the printer to try to clear the document, it spews out several pages of garbage when I turn it back on. Canceling the document in Windows print manager has no effect. I only print documents of 10 pages or less. This has been a problem with Windows 2000 and Windows XP. I remember in the old days you could stop a print job by just turning off the printer. Is there a way to prevent this problem, or alternatively, is there a modern inkjet printer that doesn’t have this problem?

Reinstall the print driver…and make sure you get the right one with your OS version

I have a hp F2480 deskjet printer and when I try to print something, small dots appear all over the page?

what to do to solve the problem?

Open the part where the cartridges are stored and using a soft cloth, clean the surrounding surface and also the thin metal on which the cartridge is held on for support.

Please do this gently.
